Favorite Led Zeppelin Songs

Following the same idea as my previous post, I have prepared a list of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs. As with my Bon Jovi list, the number of songs was determined by the number of years since the band formed, which in this case is 42--the answer to the question of life, the universe, and everything! Led Zeppelin made so much spectacular music, and such a wide variety of it, that I had no difficulty finding 42 songs to populate a list of favorites. What was rather difficult, however, was deciding what order they should be placed in. I definitely had to spend more time thinking on this list than the Bon Jovi list, and even so, it is subject to change slightly at any given moment, I think.

I was shocked to discover that several of my close friends have listened to very little Led Zeppelin, or have not even heard of the band! This quite baffles me. If any of you reading this have not heard at LEAST a handful of the songs on this list, PLEASE do yourself a favor and find a way to listen to them asap!
